Banish the winter doldrums with musical energy when the Southwest Washington Wind Symphony presents "March Madness" at 3:00 pm, Sunday March 11, at the Union High School Performing Arts Center. Musical selections include "The January February March" by Don Gillis, "Mars, The Bringer of War" by Gustav Holst, "March for Military Band in Bb, Op. 99" by Sergei Prokofiev, and "Washington Post March" by John Philip Sousa.
The Southwest Washington Wind Symphony is a 55 - member, professional quality concert band in its 7th season; seventy percent of members are music educators from the Clark county area.
All SW Washington Wind Symphony concerts are FREE and open to the public. The Union High School Performing Arts Center is located at 6201 NW Friberg-Strunk Street in Camas, Washington. Doors open at 2:30 pm.
